I decided to take the kids to the AZ Science Center a couple of weeks ago for their LEGO exhibit and we had such a blast. My mom and brother went with us and the kids had so much fun, well I think we all did. The boys were really working hard at making the best castle and Joss even gave it a good shot. I think Jocelyn's is the best and Stu did a mighty fine job of helping. We also got to play dress up. Joss and I got to be Princesses and the boys were Knights and Dragons.
We also got to go to California and Disneyland about a 2 weeks ago. We took all 3 kids this time and were there for 2 days. Note to self and anybody else who is interested, Don't go on the Monday following the Halloween opening. It was so busy and we were so mad. The lines were ridiculously long and it was just a mad house. The big hit was Space Mountain and both mornings we were there it was broken and so they weren't giving out Fast Passes and then by the time we made it back over there it was a 65 min wait and no fast passes left. Bummer! But we still had fun. Tuesday wasn't as bad as Monday but it was still kind of busy. The boys favorites were; Bear Mountain River Run, Soarin over California and Splash Mountain. Joss's favorite was the Dumbo ride and Monsters Inc. This was Jocelyn's first time and she was exactly how I pictured her. She loved seeing all of the characters and she was excited to go on the rides. She got ripped off on the Matterhorn though. I went up to the front and asked the employee if she was tall enough, she had to be 35", he measured her and said, "Yep she is good." So we got in line and waited 35 min. and when we got up to the front of the line the girl there said she is too short, sorry I won't let her on. Jocelyn was crying she wanted to go on it so bad. What a rip off. Next time Joss.
Joss got her fun though. On Tuesday I decided I would go first thing and wait in line to see Tinkerbell because that line is always so long. So I got in line and I was almost to the sign that said 60 min wait from this sign. So I knew I was going to be there for awhile. Well I am standing in the same spot for about 45 min and I was almost about to leave when the line starts moving. I guess Tinkerbell had a rough night the night before because she was a little late. Well I met up with my good ol' pal Megan and she came and stood in line with us and it made the wait much more fun. It was almost our turn to go into Pixie Hollow and Jocelyn could see Tinkerbell through the leaves and was trying to bust through the line to get to her. She was so excited. It was so cute we got our picture with the first fairy which I think was Rosetta and you could tell Joss was just itchin to go see Tinkerbell and Collin, Megan's adorable little girl was starting to get a little nervous and crying saying,"I don't want to see Tinkerbell. I am scared." Well it was our turn to see Tinkerbell and Joss just went right up to her and was talking to her and gave her a hug. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen and we got cute pictures that Megan took and then once we were done Collin just runs up to Tinkerbell and starts saying very loud and excited, "HI Tinkerbell." It was so stinkin cute. I am glad we got to see Megan and her adorable little girls for a few short minutes and catch up. So I guess the hour and a half wait to see Tinkerbell was totally worth it. We really did have a great time and the kids were really good...but I do think I will go with just the hubby next time.

Oh my goodness. Too much to tell.
Well first update, went to Girls Camp in July at Camp Lamia. I had so much fun. I was in charge of the 2nd years and well we only have one in our YW's so that was easy but I had to go on the dreaded 2nd year hike. Let me tell you it was tough but so amazing. Here is what my feet looked like after the hike. I did have pants on too. I just love seeing the girls grow in all aspects of their lives in just a few days at camp.
Second, Carson had his first day of Kindergarten. He is now going all day and loving it. He is in Miss Thomas' class and his buddy Reddin is in his class again.
Third, Talan had an awesome experience. He got to be on the news. I have an old friend that works for Fox news here in AZ and she posted on Facebook that she was looking for kids to come and be on the morning show and play with GI Joe guys to promote the new movie. Well I asked the boys if they wanted to be on TV and Carson wide-eyed replies, "No Way!" and Talan said, "I will do it." So I took Talan down to their studio at 9am and when I got there he was the only kid that showed up. So he got to be on stage with Alexis and Andrea by himself and he did great. He played with the toys and interacted with them said some funny stuff. Basically he was being Talan. On the way home this is what he said to me, "Mom, I had the best time ever."

Last, we just returned from a trip to Seattle, Wa. Our friends moved up there about a year ago and Carson has been missing his good friend Blake and I have been missing my friend too. We also have relatives that live close to where we were staying. So we finally made plans to go see them. It was just me, Carson and Joss. I just couldn't spend and extra $200 on a plane ticket for Tal. So it was just the 3 of us. We had a blast. The weather was amazing. We didn't see one cloud the whole time we were there. We played at the beach, well the lake beach, played outside, went to Pikes Place and watched them throw fish, picked blackberries, went to a sweet park. My Aunt and cousin were even able to meet us at the park. Carson got to see his cousin Cole, which he was very excited to see. It was so nice to see them and play with them too. Carson was very upset to leave. When we were on the plane he was crying and I kept asking him why he was crying and he said, "I just really am going to miss Washington and Blake." I will too. We just had so much fun and thank you guys for having us and sorry again for the fireplace, air mattress, lets see what else did we ruin. Love you guys.

There is still some good in the world today!

Today I had the horrendous experience of loosing my wallet....at the zoo. You know how at the end of the day you are thinking I am lucky to have remembered all my kids. Well it was one of those afternoons and we were leaving the zoo right about the time they were closing. Don't get me wrong it was a beautiful Arizona June summer day (cloudy and 94`) and the kids were great I just had that "I am ready to just get home" feeling nagging at me. Well we hadn't eaten lunch yet and so I ran through In n Outs drive through and got up to the first window to pay and reached inside my purse and no wallet. Panic starts to settle in and I realized I have to now go back to the zoo. Well I looked at the clock and it was now 2:05 and the zoo closed at 2:00. Tears are starting to swell as I try to retrace my steps and where I could have lost it or heaven forbid had it stolen. Well I started just saying the most intense spastic erratic prayers ever and started heading back to the zoo with now a sleeping child in the car. Called my husband and made him call the zoo hoping someone would pick up the phone after hours. My husband calls and got the automated message which said repeatedly no one will answer after park hours. After he went through their whole schpeel he pressed 0 for an operator and miraculously got a park ranger. Told him that I had lost a wallet and if they had any returned. The park ranger asked what it looked like and after he described it to him he said, "I have it right here in my hands. An honest guest turned it into us." He told him I was on my way and I was able to get my wallet from the park ranger. Immediately after I said a thankful prayer. I just want to thank the person that found my wallet and returned it with everything in tact. There is still some good in the world today! Did I mention my daughter whom was the sleeping child was very mad at me for having to wake her up to walk back up to the zoo entrance.

Fathers and Sons.
The boys had the best time at Fathers and sons. They got dirty, caught bugs and just about everything else boys like to do. Carson even lucked out and got to go to Fathers and sons with Grandpa Marler the following weekend. He even caught a fish all by himself.
